We live in a world surrounded by technology. And we know that whatever field our students choose to go into as adults, their ability to succeed will increasingly depend on understanding how technology works. That’s why our 6th graders are learning how to code on a weekly basis.
Our coding workshop is making a statement that Col·legi Sant Miquel is ready to teach these foundational 21st-century skills. Learning to program computers, they don’t just get better at computer skills, they also show gains in cognitive ability, math, creativity and reasoning.
